San Diego, January 2010: Mementos of domestic bliss piling up in the house. The New Year 2010 and the same old school supplies. Today old laptops are piling up instead.
San Diego, January 2010: Ribbons taped to the window to discourage the birds from crashing into their own reflections. Today the ribbons are gone and the birds have learned some impulse control.
What began as test photos on a new-to-me not-totally-refurbished DSLR are now, with the help of a little photo editing to make the lack of exposure/contrast/focus tolerable, a record of who we were a decade ago. These pictures are getting a second chance because, apparently, they are also a record of who we still are.
